Jason Ford

I’m excited to join Converse University as a Campus Safety Officer. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Music Business Management from The Art Institute of Atlanta, and throughout my career, I’ve gained diverse experience in several fields.

I’ve had the privilege of working as a Studio Manager at WBTV in Charlotte, where I learned a lot about broadcasting and media management. For 14 years, I served as a Distance Education Video Specialist at Gaston College, helping support the college’s efforts to provide accessible education through technology. Most recently, I have over 10 years of experience in the personal protection industry, which has sharpened my leadership and problem-solving skills.

Outside of work, I’ve been happily married for 21 years and am a proud father to two wonderful sons. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf and spending quality time with my family. I am also a Volunteer Sgt. at Hilltop Fire District.

I’m looking forward to using my experience and skills to contribute to the safety and well-being of the Converse University community.
